To my boy-crazy daughter, from God

My Precious Daughter,

Oh, I have loved watching you grow! Everything about you—those sparkling eyes, huge dreams and tender heart—make me smile. Today, my sweet one, let’s talk about the man you’re going to marry. Oh, not for a while, but I already have my eye on him. In fact, the moment you were created, I thought, “This girl of mine will have a unique purpose. I know who’d be perfect for her! Yep, it’ll be a match made in Heaven.”

And so I created him with you in mind. Want to know the details? For now, here’s a hint: He will treat you like gold! He’ll admire your character more than your looks, so you’ll know true love. He’ll make you happy without guilt or deceit, so you’ll understand respect. And he’ll put God first, so you’ll treasure true faith. Even now, I am molding his integrity and spiritual strength. He is already learning that his future wife—you, my daughter—must love the Lord with all her heart.

My concern for you, honestly, is that you’ll ignore my matchmaking skills and take matters into your own hands. Please listen, dear one, because I can see the future: Don’t settle for the wrong guy! This world is full of lies from the evil one and from boys who don’t honor me. Their schemes lead to heartache, consequences, and regret. Believe in my perfect plan, even if there’s no hint of romance on the horizon. Just stick close to me, and when the time’s right, I’ll show you a man who’s worthy of my little girl. Do you remember the promises in Jeremiah 29:11-13? I wrote them just for you:

“I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:11-13).

With eternal love,

Your Father God

I pray Father God that your revelation of your love for your daughters, would premeate their inner most being.

Eph 3:17-19 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith that you beig rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may e filled with all the fullness of God.

If only all girls would adopt this into faith instead of chasing empty promises from the world! Love this and will share it with all my daughters and their friends!
